Pay and benefits:  advice on minimum wage, equal pay, leave and other entitlements and advice on KiwiSaver obligations. 

Discrimination and human rights:  advice on all aspects of unlawful discrimination, drafting and review of equality and whistleblowing polices, training for managers on equality in the workplace, representation in discrimination matters at the Employment Relations Authority and the Human Rights Review Tribunal and in the Employment Court. 

Protected rights in employment:  advice on parental leave and flexible working, drafting parental leave and flexible working policies, advice on privacy issues and drafting of policies on privacy, representation in privacy disputes at the Human Rights Review Tribunal.

Employment relationship problems:  advice and support for managing poor performance, assisting with investigations into misconduct, advice on personal grievances and representation at the Employment Relations Authority and in the Employment Court.

Redundancy and business restructures:  advice ont he process for undertaking redundancies and business restructures and support with the selection and consultation process. 

Health and safety:  training and advice on health and safety compliance, review of health and safety policies and other documents. 

General HR advice:  assistance with the recruitment process, including drafting job description and person specifications and assisting with shortlisting and the design and implementation of performance management systems.
